CHANGE OF NAME OF
AN ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT
I. REFERENCES:
None.
II. POLICY:
The change of name of an administrative department may be approved by
the Chancellor, via the appropriate administrative channels, including
the appropriate vice chancellor. (To change a name of an academic unit
see UCSB Policy 2020). All campus departments should be notified of
the change. In addition, the following Office of the President
officers should be notified in writing:
Assistant Vice President and Director of the Budget
Associate Vice President--Business and Finance
Assistant Vice President--Information Systems and Services
