Staff are encouraged to contact Human Resources’ Benefits Office Disability Benefits and Programs for information and assistance. The campus is committed to assisting employees with work-related or non-industrial disabilities return to work as soon as medically appropriate. Through early intervention, the goal is to return employees to work as soon as medically possible and obtain reasonable accommodations when medical restrictions apply. This program assists with reasonable accommodations for disability related limitations which temporarily or permanently restrict an employee’s ability to perform the essential duties of a position. For more information and guidance, staff are encouraged to consult the campus ADA Handbook. The ADA Handbook covers a wide variety of topics, including: Accommodations for Staff, Students & Faculty
